How I Fell in Love with Resin Art: My Creative Journey

If you’ve ever wandered through a forest trail or stood still just long enough for a butterfly to land nearby, you’ll understand where my inspiration comes from. I’ve always been drawn to nature—the textures, the light, the quiet moments. That love shows up in just about everything I make.

I’ve been exploring art in one form or another for as long as I can remember. I tend to bounce between creative outlets—photography, leather craft, jewelry making, even a bit of paper art. But a couple of years ago, I discovered resin, and something just clicked. For the first time, I wasn’t thinking about what I’d try next. I was completely immersed.

There’s something magical about working with resin. It’s both unpredictable and precise—fluid one moment, solid the next. It challenges me, frustrates me, and then surprises me with something beautiful. I think that’s why I keep coming back to it. Each piece is a collaboration between me and the medium.

A lot of my work is inspired by the places I’ve hiked, the tiny details I notice on the trail, and the photos I take while I’m out in nature. The shimmer of light through leaves, the layered colors of a desert sunset, the pattern on a butterfly’s wings—these moments become the starting point for my resin pieces.

Whether it's a piece that captures the dreamy purples of twilight or a bold, earthy design that reminds me of canyon walls, each creation tells part of the story I’ve gathered on the trail. My goal is to bring a bit of that natural beauty into your space—something peaceful, personal, and made with heart.

Thanks for being here and taking a moment to share in this journey. If you see a piece that speaks to you, know that it came from a very real place—usually somewhere between dirt under my boots and a camera in my hand.
